The Old Queen's Head - Review

David Patterson's voice in his head is not usual, but that of the late Queen's.

The marketing show would make you believe this show is a slapstick comedy about a man in love with the queen, but instead, we are welcomed to a raw, honest, captivating story of his life as a gay man.

Patterson's storytelling is not only masterful but their ability to create three-dimensional characters and then play them so seamlessly, switching between accents and mannerisms to the point you truly feel like they are there on stage.

This show also gave me what I have had difficulty finding with many other shows, AN ENDING! Not only a great one but a brilliant one that wrapped up every thread and revealed a revelation about Patterson that tugged immediately at your heartstrings.

A hidden gem, a MUST SEE! Do yourself a favor and add this to your schedule NOW!
