Nic Sampson Yellow Power Ranger - Review

When I was a kid in the 90s, there was a point where Power Rangers was my absolute LIFE. Dressed up every Halloween, played with the toys constantly, and had themed birthday parties.

However, what happens to a Power Rangers actor after defeating their main villain?

Enter Nic Sampson, Mystic Force Yellow Ranger, from the fourteenth season of Power Rangers (yes, there's more than one; the show has been on for 30 years), playing a character of himself trying desperately to get his cast to reunite at a Comic Con.

Although the premise seems hyperspecific, the show is anything but. Anyone can absolutely enjoy Nic taking the absolute piss out of himself and this hilariously campy kid show he did when he was 18 and still is asked about constantly today.

Nic's Fringe debut was two years ago with Marathon 1904, a play about an insane race in the early Olympics. This time, he shifted to something he knows well, a story and show only he can tell.

This is an absolute must-see and will be a highlight of anyone's Fringe!
